The 2015 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards Finalists have been selected.
More than 120 entries were received across 15 categories.
Business Growth Centre Manager, Brett Gleeson was extremely pleased with the number of outstanding entries received this year;
“It is clear to see that many businesses in Lake Macquarie area aspire to achieve excellence and the number of high quality entries received certainly demonstrates this. To be selected as an Awards finalist is a valuable recognition of a business’ accomplishments so all finalists should be extremely proud of this achievement.”
The Awards are an initiative of the Business Growth Centre. The aim of the Awards is to recognise excellence and celebrate the outstanding achievements of local businesses.
GS Mechanical, a local car mechanic who took home Business of the Year in 2014, is one business who didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be involved and has been selected as a finalist in five categories. Rachael Sheldrick, Client Solutions Specialist for GS Mechanical, is ecstatic about their achievement;
“Our business benefited greatly from winning Business of the Year in 2014 so we weren’t about to let the opportunity of being recognised for the hard work we have been doing since then pass us by. Entering the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards is a great way for businesses to really drill down to their core achievements and demonstrate what they do best, and that is just what we did with our entries. We are thrilled to be selected as a finalist once again and we can’t wait to celebrate our achievements with our colleagues.”
Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner which will be held on Saturday 11th July 2015 at Belmont 16s.
